New Delhi: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) commenced the RRB NTPC CBT 1 examination for Graduate posts today, June 05, 2025. The first shift of the exam concluded at 10:30 AM, with initial feedback from candidates indicating a moderate to difficult overall difficulty level for the paper. The examination will continue in three shifts daily until June 24, 2025.

- Overall Difficulty: Moderate to Difficult.
- General Awareness Section: Reported as difficult compared to other sections. A significant number of questions were observed from Computers. Other topics included Women’s Premier League, Percentage of GDP on research and development, and Geographical features. Current Affairs questions were prominent, largely covering the period from October 2024 to April 2025.
- Mathematics Section: Generally rated as Easy to Moderate. Questions were primarily formula-based and direct, allowing for quicker calculations. Topics included Ratio and Proportion, Means and Median, Algebra/Simplification, LCM & HCF, and Mensuration.
- General Intelligence and Reasoning Section: Considered Easy by most candidates, making it a time-saving and scoring section. Topics included Analogy & Classification, Coding-Decoding, Syllogism, Blood Relations, Alphabet series, Number series, and Venn Diagrams.

Exam Pattern Reminder:
The CBT 1 exam comprises 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions for 100 marks, to be completed in 90 minutes. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd for each incorrect answer.
